SERVICE ON TIME
- During the Battle of Gettysburg the Union troops had almost expended their 60 rounds of ammunition when a column of ten wagons from the First Division, I Corps, suddenly galloped over Seminary Ridge to their aid loaded with 75,000 rounds. The Union was now able to hold key ground and anchor their defense.
