  • The wagon is driven by an Ordnance Major who has just picked up his wife and child. He is assigned to the arsenal at the Fort and is one of the many men responsible for seeing the munitions of war reach soldiers of the Indian-fighting Army. Ft. Leavenworth, from its founding in 1827, was the supply and starting point for military operations west of the Missouri. Commemorative Edition signed by Tracy Stivers.
