The 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division and that unit's deployment to Baghdad, Iraq during the troop surge of 2007-08. Based out of Fort Riley, KS the 4th IBCT or "Dragon" Brigade was formed in 2006 and got orders to deploy in early 2007.
